Sri Lanka’s first humanoid robot has been invented by Arimac company. It is the First level customer interaction robot. Taking orders in a restaurant, issuing tokens for a queue, checking account balances, ushering people or customer welcoming, Sinhala and Tamil voice recognitions and similar other tasks are the main functionalities of the Robot.

Its uniquely shaped ears, which resemble the shape of the ears our traditional devil masks have. Diyazen has an added feature that helps him automatically detect when the battery is about to run out. He can then roam in search of the nearby power plug and charge himself.

Few of the major projects Arimac has delivered so far include Etihad Guest Mobile Application (their loyalty platform which is the world first real-time points redeeming and earning platform), United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG) ‘Butterfly effect’ campaign for UN SDG Action Campaign in Germany which was featured in the UN General Assembly in 2019, and Dialog Mega Run game — Sri Lanka’s most downloaded mobile game.

Their main solution pillars are web and mobile development, immersive technologies (augmented and virtual reality), human ergonomics and anthropology services, artificial intelligence, and gaming and digital Entertainment.
